I am sick and tired of waiting for
something to happen within the economy and business in general. I’m sure many of you feel the same way. So, I think it’s time to get the ball rolling
in our own back yard and shake things up a bit.
Within our own firm we have decided to make changes that will help us
market more efficiently. We are also taking
advantage of ideas from other companies to help in the Endeavour. Duralee fabrics, for example, is offering 500
printed postcards at no charge once a quarter for valued clients. The cards feature, of course, fabrics and
trim from their collection on the front with a blank back for a message of some
sort and addresses. We’ve already gotten
our first 500. We placed our own message
on the back side of the card and we chose to let people know about our transition
location while the new space is built out.
The only cost to us was the postage.
(Please don’t get me started on that).
At any rate the cards went out last week and we anticipate more phone
calls over the next few weeks. This
program also worked very nicely with our own direct marketing strategy and we
are looking forward to working with Duralee next quarter, as well.
I am sure there are other cost
effective and productive collaborations out there for many of you and I
strongly advise taking advantage at once.
